What is an Estate Sale?
Finding a new home for furniture and items that have accumulated throughout the
years isn’t an easy task.
Whether you are emptying your garage, downsizing or liquidating the estate of a loved one, Fancy Finds’ estate sale service can assist you. You can donate your items to us, or we will help you sell them. And we are able to coordinate the sale of your loved one’s estate while minimizing stress and maximizing returns. By choosing our estate sale service, you are making a difference in the lives of the children, aging adults and families Baptist Children’s Homes of North Carolina serves.
What Will Happen?
At Fancy Finds, we recognize that going through the process of an estate sale can be tiring and tedious. When partnering with us, we strive to make the experience simple and enjoyable. We will handle everything from start to finish and promise to care for your items like they are family!
When beginning the process, Fancy Finds will:
Provide free consultation, and will set up a time to meet with you to discuss your needs
Visit the location of the estate sale, and asses the value of the items available.
Once we have re-assessed the location, a contract will be presented to the client, and eventually signed. An estate sale date will then be assigned.
Advertising for the sale will begin one month in advance. The property will be cleaned, inventory will be priced and item staging will take place.

Volunteer to Help
Estate sales can be tiresome and tedious, and we can use all the help we can get. Volunteers are needed to help with paperwork, help move items for staging, and to clean the property before the day of the sale.
