What is Custom Repurposing?

Got an idea for transforming your timeworn item but prefer to let an expert handle the creative process? Fancy Finds can breathe new life into your furniture or home décor piece. The custom repurposing fee is used to aid Baptist Children’s Homes’ (BCH) children, aging adults and families in the nonprofit’s care.

Fancy Finds volunteers will help transform any piece of furniture into a new look and feel that only can be done here at Fancy Finds. In our new resale store, opening soon, you will be able to select any piece of furniture that you see or have at home to bring to us.

Can I get an item Repurposed?

You can bring any piece of furniture from your home, or find an item in our store that has potential. Let Fancy Finds director Renee Gregory know you would like to purchase the item and have it repurposed. Then, give her the idea or new look for the item to be repurposed. The size and detail required to repurpose your item will determine the price and the time needed to meet your needs. Once finished, you will be notified when to pick up your new work of art.

Fancy Finds resale store will be open on the third Friday and Saturday of every month. We welcome the entire family to come and join us at Fancy Finds. We have a children’s play area inside the store as well as cornhole, giant jenga and checkers outside. Fancy Finds is located on the Mills Home campus of Baptist Children’s Homes in Thomasville at 201-E Idol Street. We look forward to seeing you soon!
